The two founders Sandra & Siggi were both born and raised in Germany. They received extensive training at the world-famous stallion studs throughout Germany, are FN- certified in addition to being accomplished FEI riders. Both clinic regularly in order to keep their own skills sharp and advanced.  Siggi travels to Germany on a continuous basis to train with her mentors, and hosts regular clinics in Seattle with two German Grand Prix riders and trainers, Raphael Heiligers and Karla Spiritus.  Sandra trains under the watchful eyes of Marion & Reinhart Schleypen.

They both moved to Seattle for different reasons in 2000 and met shortly thereafter. Since then they have been an unbeatable team when it comes to horses, riders and finding the perfect match. In 2005, Sandra moved back to Cologne with her family but we are hoping that she will come back to Seattle permanently in the year 2011. 

The uniqueness of Cavallis is to have access to two German equestrian experts, with Sandra conveniently located in the equestrian heart of the world - Germany - and Siggi located in Seattle, USA.
