Amaroux & Sherrie

Sherrie found her perfect match Amaroux (2002 Hanoverian gelding) with the help of Cavallis in March 2007. Siggi and Kecia were on a Germany trip when we came across the then 5 year old Amaroux.  He was already working 2nd/3rd level when we met him and was such a easy going boy. Sherrie trusted us enough to buy him without her trying him herself.  A week after  his arrival in Seattle, Amaroux had a VERY LUCKY break when he was involved in a tragic run-away accident that cost one horse's life but left Amaroux completely unharmed 12 miles north of KGF Equestrian Center in a garage after having crossed several busy 4 lane streets at the speed of 35 mph on pavement and being followed by police cars.  To make a long story short, his chances of surviving the incident was one to several million but he did it without a scratch and without causing any harm or accident to anyone in the process. Absolutely amazing and very very lucky!!  After that incident, he enjoyed several months of rest in a grassy big flied at Jones Farm in Maple Valley.  He came back to work in Fall 2007 and is doing really well.   Sherrie is taking regular lessons and making steady progress, even though she is one busy lady.

Kecia & Laudatio aka Laudi or Mr. Floppy Ears

Kecia found her perfect match, Laudatio (2004 Rhineland gelding) on that Germany trip that we also found Amaroux for Sherrie in March 2007.  Kecia had some BIG horse shoes to fill, as she tried to find a successor for her 18.2h Don Capello (D.C.), who had to retire early due to reoccurring injury. We looked at many horses here at home and in Germany, most of them 2nd level and above and we saw definitely some fancy ones but in the end, Mr. Floppy Ears, a then barely 3 year old gelding by Laudabilis stole her heart. He was ridden a total of 10 times when Kecia tried him but it was all over for her, it was love at first sight. It also did not hurt that she met Laudi's breeder, Gisela, who showed her an entire album of Laudi-baby-pictures and an ultrasound of him.  It was too cute for words.  After his arrival in Seattle with his travel buddy Amaroux, he spent 6 months on the grassy fields of Jones Farm to grow some more. He came back to KGF Equestrian Center to start his formal training in October 2007.  He has been been coming along nicely - the picture on the left was taken in April 2008.  Kecia is really enjoying her boy, the training process, the trails at Bridle State Park and might be showing him at Training Level later this season.

Laurie & Livingston (aka. The professor or Mr. Fancy Pants)

Laurie found her perfect match, Livingston (1998 Hanoverian gelding by Lauries Crusador xx) with Cavallis in Germany on an all girls trip with her friends Kecia & Linda in August 2005.  Sandra had seen Livingston (then 5 years old) two years prior to that during another horse shopping trip in Germany and could never get him out of her mind. So when Laurie started looking for her new perfect match Sandra knew already way ahead who might be her perfect match... I guess we can say it was love at first sight! After Laurie's rode her first trot extension on Livingston (his absolute favorite :0) we could not get her to even look at any other horses!

Laurie's testimonial says it all, "...I am truly convinced that he is one of the smartest horses ever and Siggi and I have discussed the possibility of him actually winning a Nobel Prize (Equine Learning Science or something like that :0)

I love this horse!  He is talented, intelligent and kind.  I am very excited about the future with him and hope with all my heart to live up to him and his potential."

2008 Season, Laurie has already qualified Livingston for the Championships at First Level as of May and is now working on doing the same for Second Level.
